A friend of mine took a photograph of the Northern Lights. The colours were so bright and deep- I knew immediately I wanted to use those colours to make a simple Bargello quilt. I added organza in places to give the impression of reflective light. Hand dyes fabric, organza. Hand and machine quilted.
