Meeting 10:00 for 10:30 start.

Unfortunately our usual meeting place in the Folk and Transport Museum, Cultra, is not available to us for our first meeting of the 2024 – 25 season. [There will be other dates when the Cultra Hall is not available, but you’ll be notified.]
We have, however, been fortunate to find a location close to our usual meeting place in Cultra Folk and Transport Museum: The Scout Hall in Crawfordsburn Country Park.
Address: Crawfordsburn Country Park, 109 Old Milltown Road, Belfast BT8 7SP

It is a delightful location (no apologies for sounding like an Estate Agent, it really is a gorgeous venue). There’s a great coffee shop and an easy stroll down to the sea, to enjoy after the Meeting. [Meeting 10:00 for 10:30 start].
Many know the park and will no doubt recognise the Scout Hall, others may never have visited.
We want you to find us without difficulty. Google Maps is such an amazing tool and will guide you easily. It may take you via Helen’s Bay or via Crawfordsburn, either is fine.
When following the A2 from Belfast to Bangor, Crawfordsburn Country Park is signposted from the Junction at Ballyrobert. This may be covered with vegetation, don’t be anxious if you miss it. Trust your Sat Nav and keep a lookout for the turn. When you enter the park, a one way traffic system is in operation, which means you’ll have to exit and return. We’ve included a picture of the Scout Hall to help. [There is a height restriction on the exit road of 12 feet.]
We’re hoping you find the following pictures helpful. They are taken from Google Maps. Also included is a map of the walk from the nearby Helen’s Bay Train Station. If you need a lift, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.
Lastly, you will find a link to the Membership form at the start of this post.
Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
