Hello everyone 

The clocks have gone back,  and I hope you enjoyed your extra hour in bed. It’s been several weeks since we were together as the 4th October meeting had to be cancelled, so we are looking forward to seeing you all at Crawfordburn Park next Saturday 1st November at our next Meeting.

It’s in the Scout Centre, Crawfordsburn, 20 Bridge Road South, Helen’s Bay, Bangor, BT19 1JT. 

From 10:00 am.

Do join us for tea or coffee 

You may bring your own cup.

Opening remarks

Our speaker is  freelance designer Dr Barbara Dass. This is Barbara’s first time visiting us so a big welcome to her. Barbara is speaking on Honouring Brokenness Through Stitch.

The morning meeting, is followed in the afternoon by a workshop also by Barbara.

The theme of the workshop is Cloth as Narrative.

There are some places available for this. 

Participants should bring a basic sewing kit. 

Visitors are welcome. If you know someone who is interested in patchwork /sewing, please invite them along.
