As soon as I heard the theme Princess Aurora popped into my head. I did a mash up of a lot of techniques: the face is foundation pieced and the body is needle turn applique. I also gave hand embroidery a go, my first attempt. I wanted it to be 3 dimensional so I added extra wadding behind her and the flowers.
