HATB 2017 Aurora

Anne French ‘Enchanted Aurora’

The colours in the central square inspired my thought on Aurora. The squares were hand sewn combining various white materials and white threads. It was then painted with procion dyes using techniques learned at a workshop with Ruth Issett. The quilting is hand stitched running stitches of various sizes. Background is hand dyes fabric purchased at Festival of Quilts several years ago.
