Imagining the magical, gentle glow of a Donegal Aurora. Russet hues shower the emergent landscape in a warm radiance; revealing textures, subtle colours, shapes and light. All 800 approximately pieces were fussy cut in tiny log cabins. Machine pieced and hand quilted. I used silk, 100% cotton, and vintage recycled clear glass beads/navy sequins. Inspired by the linear design of the fabric and in homage to Flavin Glover.
