HATB 2017 Aurora

I am fascinated by space and the wonders out there. Recently, I was looking through the NASA.GOV website. I was struck by the images of the Northern Lights taken from the International Space Station. I started thinking that the colours must be much more vibrant in space imagining that the parts bleeding away into the ether are twinkling brightly into the distance. Cotton fabric , machine and hand quilted with sequins and beads.
