Anne James “The Dawn of Time”

The quilt is a combination of inserted manipulated fabrics and felt made by myself from wool fibre and silk throwsters.
Inspiration for this theme was slow in coming, and continues to evolve as I worked on my piece. I love sky and dawn colours. As Aurora is the Goddess of the Dawn, I wanted to concentrate on this.
